AUSTIN, Texas — A real estate agent from Texas died Saturday morning at age 89 after a bout with cancer.
The Austin-based Wolffer Estate announced the death Saturday night.
A cause of death has not yet been released.
The agent was a lifelong real estate investor, according to her son, Michael Wolff.
He said he is not sure if the agent was aware of her illness.
Wolff and her son worked together for years and were well known in the Austin community.
The Wolffs were involved in a number of projects in the city and were active in the local real estate community.
Wolff is survived by her son and three daughters.
The Wolff family said in a statement on Twitter that they were shocked and saddened to learn of the death.
They are asking for privacy during this difficult time.
